India: High Court Rules in Favor of Free Worship Inside Religious Institution

MADURAI – The Madras High Court ruled that a church in Kanyakumari has the constitutional right to freely worship within its premises, Zee News reported on June 27.  The Court’s ruling was in response to the pastor of the South India Assemblies of God having been directed by a Kanyakumari Revenue Divisional Officer to obtain official permission to conduct services.
