China: Christian Prisoners in Sichuan Forbidden to Read the Bible, Meet for Mass

Voice of the Martyrs reports that four Christians held since late June in a Sichuan detention center have been denied the right to read the Bible while in custody.  The four, who were arrested after they inquired after the situation of two members of their church, have been forbidden to read the Bible, meet for Sunday services, or use such Biblical terms as “God” and “Jesus” when they communicate with their families.
