Nigeria: Non-Muslims Continue to be Tried in Shari’a Courts

Kaduna is one of twelve Nigerian states to have adopted Shari’a law, which all states may elect to use; however, in theory, the Shari’a courts have no jurisdiction over non-Muslims.
