Kazakhstan: Government Arrests, Fines Islamic Missionaries

Forum 18 reports that members of Tabligh Jama’at, a missionary organization founded to promote the ideas of Islam among Muslims, face arrest and increased fines for attempting to speak at mosques without first registering with the state.  It is impossible to expel the group because they are Kazakh citizens, and the government keeps members of the group under surveillance.
