China: House Church Leader Arrested for the Second Time in Three Months

China Aid reports that Lou Yuanqi, a house church leader in Xinjiang, China, was arrested on December 23 for the second time in three months and moved to a detention center in Huocheng County. He was released on bail, pending trial, on December 29. Police gave no reason for the arrest, though Lou had already spent over a month in jail during October and November 2006 for organizing and participating in non governmentally-approved Christian gatherings in the area.
