Russia: New Law Requires Less of Religious Communities

Forum 18 reports that on April 10, Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov signed a decree that will reduce the amount of information religious communities and organizations are required to submit to the government. Communities will have to document any enterprise or income from foreign and domestic legal entities or foreign states, but will no longer have to supply personal information of members of the organizations’ governing bodies.
