Iran: Court Postpones Trial of Bahai Leaders

TEHRAN – An Iranian court has postponed the August 18 trial of seven leaders of the Baha’i faith accused of espionage for Israel and insulting sanctities, Reuters reported on August 17.  The trial of the seven Baha’i leaders, who have now been held for over a year, was postponed at the request of their defense lawyers as time between the announcement of the court date and the start of the trial left no time for preparation.
