Further Reading: Voice of America on Hardships Faced by Bahai Community

A Voice of America article examines the continued hardships faced by members of the Baha’i community in Egypt despite recent improvements, such as the right not to identify their faith on government identification cards.  Recent incidents of discrimination faced by the Baha’i community include the burning of four of their homes in Suhag and the subsequent resistance by neighboring towns against a government attempt to relocate the victims.
