KUWAIT CITY – The Misdemeanor Court of Appeals on August 10 acquitted a Special Forces officer, identified only as Ahmad A., of defamation, the Arab Times reported on August 10. Ahmad A. was originally arrested on May 7 and sentenced to 6 months in jail after the State Security Department received information that there was a Special Forces video of him defaming the Prophet Muhammed.
